Our Kindergarten Enrichment Program is designed to give children an extended and unique experience over and above their regular Kindergarten academics.

We hold a morning class for those children attending an afternoon Kindergarten class at their local elementary school, and an afternoon class for those children attending a morning Kindergarten class at their local elementary school.

  • Registration in the Kindergarten Enrichment program will be accepted on a first come-first served basis.

  • It is not necessary to know if your child is assigned to a morning or afternoon kindergarten class when you register.  You can provide this information to us as soon as you receive it from your child’s elementary school.

  • The exact times of classes will be dependent upon the Daniel Boone School District schedule of bus arrival and departure.

  • The maximum class size is 18 students per session

Emergency Closings and Inclement Weather:
In the case of inclement weather and Daniel Boone School District is running on a two-hour delay opening or closes school, St. Paul’s Child Development Center will open on a one-hour delay at 7:30 am.
The Center will make every effort to remain open during inclement weather.  However, should the center need to delay opening further, it will be announced on:

  • WFMZ 69 NEWS

  • Our Facebook page at St. Paul’s Child Development Center/Douglassville

  • We will not make phone calls to parents but parents may call the center about early dismissals.

Should the Center need to close in the middle of the day, the staff will attempt to reach the child’s parents first to arrange for pick up. Should the staff be unable to reach the parents, the persons listed on the emergency contact form will be called until pick up arrangements can be made. Staff will notify the parents or emergency contact person at the time of the call of the pick-up location should the children need to be evacuated from the child care center.  Parents or emergency contact persons should report directly to the alternate location if one is indicted.

Should the center need to close for any reason, tuition will not be refunded nor reduced for closures.  Student vacation days can be applied, if available.

Excessive closures will be reviewed by the Supervising Committee and adjustments may be made to this policy.
